We added Reishi to the ancient power of high quality Cacao, a long prized food in Aztec + Mayan cultures. When this happens a bounty of goodness occurs.

Our supporting cast of Maca Powder, Mesquite, Rose + Coconut Nectar Crystals bring an overall clean and inviting blend to you that can be used in warm beverages, smoothies or raw morsel recipes.

DESCRIPTION

Adaptogenic substances such as Reshi, and Maca, have the ability to reduce the stressors in your body and strengthen your endocrine system. They also supply energy and improved stamina.

Cacao is the base alchemical ingredient here, a great potentiator for the adaptogens to do their work as it is aids in their delivery.

We also added Mesquite Pod, a plant based protein with butterscotch overtones favoured by Native Americans. Rose petal powder a beautiful flowing herb is a tonic to support your heart and is suggested to aid digestion and restore essential bacteria in the system as well as cleansing the body.

True Cinnamon and Coconut Nectar Crystals are a low glycemic and stabilising way to bring a little sweetness to some of the bitter herbs. They both have their own nutritional love to share.

Our Cacao Elixir is a great coffee replacement, with no jittery after effects.

INGREDIENTS

Cacao* – Our Peruvian Cacao is grown and processed in co-operative farms where organic and low temperature techniques are utilised. High in anti-oxidants, magnesium, essential minerals, and flavonoids and the container of bliss chemicals; Anandamide, Serotonin, and Dopamine is why Cacao is used as a Shamanic heart opening food.

Maca* – A powerful endocrine system modulator/balancer and adpatogen grown in the high Andes. Maca is a root and has been suggested to assist in menopause symptoms and for all as a mood balancer, and stamina boost. It also has a lovely malty flavour profile.

Mesquite* – Mesquite owes its history to Native American and Indian traditions that revere it and use it as a carbohydrate and plant based protein source. It is high in soluble fiber and low in the glycemic index with a reasonable protein profile of up to 20%. Its natural butterscotch sweetness creates a beautiful flavour in synergy with all other Cacao Elixir ingredients.

Reishi Extract – Wildcrafted, 30% Polysaccharide. This eastern medicine favourite is adaptogentic, tonifying to the life force and boasts many nutritional attributes that offer up good reason to add it to your life daily.

Rose* – Dried red Rose petals bring flow to the system, support digestion and the heart. It is a great food for your insides with its anti-inflammatory properties.

Ceylon Cinnamon* – Cinnamon Verum or True Cinnamon from Sri Lanka is slightly sweet in flavour. Apart from its sugar stablising benefits, it is also used in Ayurvedic Medicine to treat colds, aid digestion and for its anti-inflammatory properties.

Coconut Nectar Crystals* – Indonesian Coconut Nectar is dried into crystals at low temperatures. It offers a caramel like flavour and low fructose profile to the Cacao Elixir. It also aids in ameliorating some of the bitterness.

DOSAGE & USE

Suggested Dosage
Mix 1-2 tsp per cup with heated coconut cream, nut milk, dairy milk or hot water. Make sure the milk is nice and frothy, sprinkle with additional cinnamon before serving if preferred.

As part of your daily Alchemy Range ritual, we suggest you enjoy midafternoon, or anytime you feel the desire for a delicious tasting chocolate tonic. Add to smoothies, warm elixirs, raw morsels and anywhere you would use cacao.

Storage Suggestions
Pouch – Store in a cool dry place, keeping it well sealed. The ingredients can be affected by moisture and become lumpy.

Miron Jar – Can be stored on the counter top away from heat. Ensure it is tightly closed as the ingredients can be affected by moisture.
